I really wanted to like these, but they just didn’t do it for me. The flavor tasted flat, more like straight heat than an actual pepper taste, and there was kind of a stale edge to it. I tried it on eggs and pizza hoping it would grow on me, but no luck. Also, the email made it sound like one thing and the actual taste was another, so I was a little confused and disappointed...

I really thought these were going to be something I’d throw on everything. Like, at first on pizza I was thinking, okay, not bad at all. Then I tried them in soup, eggs, and pasta and my mood changed fast. It all started tasting kind of the same no matter what I put it on. For the price, I expected way more versatility, so yeah, a bit disappointed.

The pepper itself was good, no complaints there. But trying to cancel the subscription was kind of annoying. The page for it was confusing, and I kept clicking around trying to figure out where this or that was supposed to be

I ordered these a little while ago and spent the past couple of weeks trying a few of the different pepper blends with meals. There’s a decent variety, and a couple of them were really good. After a few days of testing them out, though, some started to taste a bit similar to me. Shipping was totally fine and everything arrived without any issues. I might order again down the road, but I do wish there was clearer info on the heat levels so I’d know what to expect before buying

The peppers themselves are actually good, which almost makes the size choices more frustrating. I didn’t really want to commit to a huge bag, but the smaller one feels a little skimpy for what it costs. It’s nice that they offer options at all, I guess, but a middle size would make way more sense. Not a bad product, just not the most convenient setup.

The shipping took longer than I expected, which put me in a bit of a grumpy mood by the time it finally showed up. The taste was okay though, not amazing, but not bad either. Just kind of a middle-of-the-road experience for me.

I knew going in that it was supposed to be spicy, so I wasn’t exactly shocked, but wow, this was just too much for me. I only added a little bit and suddenly I couldn’t even really enjoy the food anymore, it was just heat and more heat. Maybe if you’re someone who loves super intense spice you’d be into it, but for a normal heat level person like me, definitely not

This wasn’t like the description at all. What I received didn’t really match what I thought I was ordering, which was frustrating enough, but having to go through repeated verification on top of that made the whole experience even more annoying.

I was excited to try this pepper blend because the reviews made it sound amazing. When I opened it, it did smell good, a little smoky with a hint of sweetness, but the scent wasn’t nearly as bold as I expected. After a few days, it also seemed to lose some of that fresh smell, which was disappointing. It’s still usable and tastes fine, but I was hoping for something a lot more impressive.

I was expecting a decent selection based on what was advertised, but once I actually got there, it felt weak. Kind of had that bait-and-switch feeling, like they made it seem like there would be way more options than there really were. Overall, disappointing

I tried using their tips for making chili oil, and it came out decent overall. A few of the steps felt a little vague though, so I ended up guessing on things like timing and amounts. I also expected a faster response when I needed clarification. Not a bad experience, but the recipes could definitely be more detailed

It showed up way later than I expected, the tracking barely updated, and I ended up having to reach out myself just to figure out what was going on. The peppers are probably decent, but the shipping was frustrating enough that I don’t really feel like taking the chance again.

I spent some time looking around flatironpepper.com, i didn’t feel totally confident ordering from it. The site itself looks decent, but I kept having to slow down and dig around for basic stuff like clear company info, shipping details, and who to contact if something goes wrong. I don’t mind being patient when I’m shopping, but I don’t like feeling forced to be patient just to figure out if a site is trustworthy. Maybe they’re perfectly fine, but I wasn’t comfortable putting in my card details, so I left without buying anything

I was trying to order some peppers, but the website was kind of frustrating. The pages felt slow, and I had to click around way too much just to find basic information. The cart confused me too, I couldn’t really tell if my items were saved or if I needed to add them again. Maybe their products are great, but the whole site experience made me give up. They taste fine and I don’t really have any complaints about the flavor. It’s just that the price feels a little too high for what it is. I’ve bought similar pepper flakes elsewhere for less, so... not sure I’d grab these again unless they were on sale...

I ordered from flatironpepper and the peppers did show up okay, so I can’t say there was a major problem with the product itself. But after I paid, I started feeling a little unsure about the whole thing because the packaging just didn’t feel very reassuring when it arrived. The pouch was sealed, but the box was beat up and there wasn’t much padding inside. Nothing spilled and I can still use the peppers, but for the price I expected it to feel a bit more secure and professional. Not a terrible experience, just not one that made me feel totally confident ordering again.
